I’m just a girl, with a tampon, who is sick of not having an easy way to get rid of it.

That’s why in 2024 I decided to fix the damn problem.

Not only is it ridiculous that we don’t already have a global standard for period product disposal, but flushing them down the toilet has a huge impact on our environment, waterways and building infrastructure.

With approximately 19 billion tampons and 200 billion sanitary pads used globally every year, the need for sustainable disposal solutions becomes clear.

My vision is ambitious: to make Essybag a standard in as many of the world’s toilets as possible and I plan on doing that one bag at a time.
